How Atlas Copco collects, uses, retains, and protects personal data in connection with engineering inquiries and marketing communications.
The data controller is Atlas Copco Drilling & Power Systems, registered at 1188 Engineering Drive, Nacka, Stockholm 131 54, Sweden. Our appointed data protection officer can be reached at [email protected].
Through the inquiry modal and the contact form we collect your name, business email, phone number, operating company, project location, selected inquiry type, and the free-text notes you choose to share. If you download a datasheet, we record the download event against your session and any authenticated account.
We process the information to reply to your inquiry, to route it to the correct engineering discipline, to retain an audit record alongside the underlying project, and to follow up with further engineering communications where relevant. Processing relies on the legitimate interest of responding to a commercial inquiry and, where required, on the consent expressed via the privacy checkbox.
Inquiry records are retained for the duration of the commercial relationship plus ten years, in line with the documentation retention required by ISO 9001 and export control audit. Marketing consent is reviewed every three years or on request.
Data is shared with Atlas Copco affiliates, authorised service partners, and regulated transport providers strictly on a need-to-know basis. We do not sell personal data. Third-party processors are contractually bound to the GDPR standard of protection.
Where personal data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, the transfer is covered by the European Commission Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent mechanism recognised under the UK and Swiss regimes.
You have the right to access, rectify, restrict, or erase the personal data we hold, to object to the processing based on legitimate interest, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Requests can be directed to [email protected] and we will respond within one calendar month.
The site uses strictly necessary cookies to deliver the navigation and form experience, and optional analytics cookies subject to your consent. The consent preference can be changed at any time from the cookie settings link in the footer.
